They are used to bond #6 Copper wire to 1/4″ or 5/16″ strand wire and find great application in telecommunication industry. They are constructed of high strength Copper alloy such as C955 or C956. The bolt can be from Silicon Bronze or Stainless Steel.
The biggest advantage is that the installation does not require removal of bolt and the clamp can be installed with use of a standard terminal wrench. The clamp is Tin plated when used with dissimilar metals.
